Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is living his best life, both on and off the field. As one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, Prescott, who currently ranks third in passing yards, is enjoying his team’s bye week in style. The star QB made a major announcement on Instagram—he and his longtime girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, are officially engaged.
Prescott, who was the 2023 NFL MVP runner-up, had an offseason to remember, signing a record-breaking four-year, $240 million contract extension with the Cowboys. This deal includes an average annual salary of $60 million, solidifying Prescott as one of the highest-paid players in the league. So when it came time to propose, Prescott went all out, making sure the engagement was as spectacular as his accomplishments on the field.
The engagement ring, designed by the renowned jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills, is nothing short of stunning and carries an eye-popping price tag.
Valued at an estimated $1 million, the custom-made ring features a breathtaking 10-carat center diamond flanked by two tapered baguettes, all set in 18-karat yellow gold. Prescott proudly shared photos of the impressive piece on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the special moment.
Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, spoke about the process of creating the ring and praised Prescott for his involvement in the design. “In my business, there are high-maintenance clients and then there’s Dak. Dak was so easy to work with and very intentional with every detail of this ring,” Arasheben explained. “He wanted something classic but with a little flare, and that’s exactly what we did. He was involved in every aspect and really wanted this to be a ring she would love.”
Prescott’s engagement to Ramos caps off what has already been an extraordinary year for the Cowboys’ star. Along with securing his massive contract extension and planning a dream proposal, he and Sarah Jane Ramos also became parents earlier this year.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named MJ, born on February 29.
As Prescott prepares for the remainder of the NFL season, he’s clearly winning off the field as well. With his engagement to Ramos and the addition of baby MJ to their family, the Cowboys quarterback is celebrating love, success, and new beginnings.
