Scary stuff involving T’Vondre Sweat’s DWI arrest.
The 22-year-old defensive lineman out of the University of Texas was projected to be a first-round draft pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.
However, that may have possibly changed following his DWI arrest in Austin, Texas last weekend.
The viral NFL combine star was no injured, but scary details have now emerged about how serious the incident could have been.
According to TMZ, Sweat was driving a Ford Bronco when it collided with a blue Dodge sports car which caused his car to lose control and flip over.
The police report also claims that Sweat’s vehicle had an odor of “burnt marijuana” and he appeared to have “glassy eyes.”
Sweat was taken to Travis County Jail and booked on a charge of DWI at around 2:12 PM.
He was released at around 4 PM after he posted $3,000 bond.

Sweat, who was honored as the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, won the 2023 Outland Trophy for being the best interior lineman in college football.
His play helped the Longhorns to victory in the Big 12 championship and secured a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals which resulted in a loss to the University of Washington.
