In the touching montage capturing the highlights of the year, the world No. 2 tennis star shared cherished moments with the 42-year-old Koltsov, including kisses at a hockey game, strolls along picturesque streets, dancing on a boat, and his supportive presence during her tennis training sessions.
“Thank you 2023! See u soon 2024??,” Sabalenka captioned the post, reflecting on the fond memories they had created together.

Koltsov, who had three sons from a previous marriage, was a constant companion to Sabalenka during her travels to tennis tournaments, providing unwavering support. Tragically, he passed away by suicide early Monday morning in Bal Harbour, Florida, while Sabalenka was participating in the Miami Open.
The Miami-Dade Police Department confirmed the incident, stating that Koltsov jumped from a balcony at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. Investigators from the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Homicide Bureau determined that no foul play was involved.
Sabalenka and Koltsov began dating in 2021 and publicly acknowledged their relationship on Instagram in June of that year. In a heartfelt caption accompanying a photo of Koltsov kissing her cheek, Sabalenka expressed gratitude for having someone who understood her and embraced her quirks, adding a touch of humor with the assurance that he wouldn’t get bored with her.
