Taylor Swift’s dancer, Kameron Saunders, sent a playful and heartfelt message to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce after his brother, Khalen Saunders, tackled the tight end during the Chiefs’ 26-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. In the third quarter of the game, Khalen—now a defensive tackle for the Saints—knocked Kelce down, a moment that led to an exuberant celebration from Khalen on the field.
The tackle garnered attention not just for the play itself, but because Khalen and Kelce were former teammates on the Chiefs, having won Super Bowl titles together in 2019 and 2022.
On Wednesday, Kameron Saunders, Khalen’s brother and a dancer for Taylor Swift, took to Instagram to share his excitement and pride over the moment.
Kameron posted a series of photos from the game, including shots of him with family and friends on the sideline, Khalen in action on the field, and even a picture with Swift and Kelce. His caption radiated pride for his brother and enthusiasm for witnessing the moment live.
“And THAT is how you do Monday Night Football!” Kameron wrote. “‘Proud’ doesn’t feel like a strong enough word to describe my feelings! Because… WTF! Moment and history made!!!”

Kameron continued to express his admiration for his brother, saying, “I am HONORED to have seen it in person and watch the world finally catch up to the absolute BEAST you are. Glad the camera didn’t cut to me after that play ‘cuz I was screaming and jumping like a maniac! I love you with everything in me!!!”
In a humorous twist, Kameron directed a friendly jab at Travis Kelce over the tackle. “To my KC and Chiefs family… it is ALWAYS a pleasure. Til next time. PS. Hope that tackle ain’t hurt too bad, Trav!”
The moment was particularly significant because Khalen Saunders and Kelce had previously shared the field as teammates in Kansas City. Khalen played for the Chiefs for three seasons, helping the team secure two Super Bowl championships before signing a three-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.
Despite now being on opposite sides, the camaraderie between the two players was still evident, adding a special layer to the game. Khalen Saunders didn’t just make waves with his tackle on Kelce.
He also contributed significantly to the Saints’ defensive effort, tallying two tackles and five assists, along with making a standout play by intercepting a loose ball in the Chiefs’ end zone. Khalen ran the ball for 37 yards, shaking off several defenders, a rare and impressive feat for a defensive lineman.
While Khalen had a strong performance, the Saints ultimately fell to 2-3 with the loss, as they now prepare to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 13.
On the other hand, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs moved to a perfect 5-0 record with their victory. Kelce himself had a solid game, hauling in nine receptions for 70 yards.
The friendly rivalry between Khalen and Kelce, combined with Kameron Saunders’ joyful celebration of his brother’s accomplishments, added a unique and entertaining narrative to an otherwise routine NFL matchup.
For Kameron, it was a night to remember, as he got to witness firsthand the success of both his brother and the Chiefs, all while enjoying the spectacle of Monday Night Football.
