Taylor Swift subtly confirmed that her track “So High School” from “The Tortured Poets Department” album is indeed about her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
In the song’s lyric video, she cleverly highlighted the initials of both herself and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, at exactly 45 seconds into the video.
The lyrics at that moment, “Cheeks pink in the twinkling lights/ tell me ’bout the first time you saw me,” show the “T” and “K” in “twinkling” and the “T” and “S” in “lights” colored pink while the rest are in white.

Fans quickly took to social media to express their excitement, with one fan exclaiming on X (formerly Twitter) about the highlighted initials in pink, while another commented on Swift’s evident romantic feelings.
Adding to the fun, Kelce hinted at the song’s personal relevance through a post on his podcast’s X account, “New Heights,” where he mimicked his father—a detail Swift includes in the song lyrics, saying, “I feel like laughin’ in the middle of practice / To that impression you did of your dad again.”
Before these hints, fans had speculated about the song’s subject, pointing to various lyrics as references to their relationship, including lines about a memorable car door gesture on their first public date in October 2023.
Beyond “So High School,” Swifties also think the song “The Alchemy” on the same album might be about Kelce, noting lyrics about touchdowns and trophies.
While the album features songs about past relationships, insiders say Kelce is supportive of Swift’s artistic expression, even if future songs may reflect on their own relationship. Following the album’s release, Swift posted a cozy home video with Kelce, underscoring their strong connection.
