Taylor Swift was all smiles after her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, played a key role in leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a thrilling season-opening win against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. The pop superstar celebrated the victory with an impromptu and playful post-game “interview” alongside fellow WAG, Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.
Inside a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift took on the role of a reporter in a lighthearted video shared on Gordon’s Instagram Story. “Exclusive interview with Chariah. After the game, how are you feeling after this victory?” Swift asked, mimicking a reporter’s tone with a grin.
“I am feeling good after this victory,” Gordon responded before playfully turning the question back to Swift. “How are you feeling, sissy-pop?” she asked.
Swift, unable to contain her excitement, replied with a laugh, “I’m feeling fantastic!” She and Gordon then began jumping up and down, celebrating the Chiefs’ 27-20 win, with Gordon exclaiming, “We won!” The energy in the suite was electric, with guests laughing, hugging, and chatting as music played in the background, capturing the joyous post-game atmosphere.
The Chiefs’ victory kicked off the 2024 NFL season in style, and Swift was there to support Kelce in a striking game-day look. She arrived wearing a daring denim Versace corset, paired with jean shorts and red over-the-knee boots by Giuseppe Zanotti. She accessorized with a black Louis Vuitton handbag, a standout Bulgari ancient coin necklace, and a “TNT” bracelet—a gift from Kelce last season that has become a signature piece for Swift. Gordon, meanwhile, matched Swift’s denim aesthetic, sporting a denim jacket over a white bodysuit, complete with a diamond-encrusted chain necklace.
Throughout the game, Swift was seen cheering enthusiastically, and at one point, Kelce, also 34, made a sweet gesture by pointing to her after making a crucial catch. The pass, thrown by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, helped Mahomes break the franchise record for all-time passing yards. Swift, clearly proud, blushed and shared a celebratory hug with Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, who was sitting next to her. Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, was also in the suite and could be seen chatting warmly with Swift during the game.
In a fun moment, cameras even caught Swift performing choreography from her Eras Tour song “So High School” as she clapped and cheered for the Chiefs, further delighting her fans.
After the game, Swift and Kelce were spotted leaving the stadium together, holding hands and looking every bit the power couple. Kelce wore an all-white ensemble, while Swift’s eye-catching outfit ensured she remained the center of attention even off the field.
The night’s events came after some playful banter from Ravens player Marlon Humphrey, who had taken a jab at Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. Humphrey joked on his own podcast, Punch Line, that Kelce’s podcast success was due to his relationship with Swift. “I pray for this — to go against him because, like, he’s tried to take everything from me,” Humphrey joked, adding that the season opener was a “pod vs. pod” showdown.
While Humphrey may have been ready for a rivalry, the Chiefs’ victory clearly tipped the scales in Kelce’s favor.
As the Chiefs begin their 2024 campaign, Swift’s support for her beau is stronger than ever, and the two continue to make headlines both on and off the field.
