Politics and sports, two seemingly disparate realms, have unexpectedly intertwined as we find ourselves discussing them together during an election year.
Former President Donald Trump is reportedly seeking an endorsement from Taylor Swift ahead of the 2024 election, although such an endorsement appears highly improbable.
Taking to his social media platform, Truth Social, the 45th President emphasized his support for Swift and other musical artists by highlighting his signing of the Music Modernization Act. Trump contrasted his actions with those of President Joe Biden, suggesting that Swift would not endorse Biden due to his perceived shortcomings.

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists,” he posted. “Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor and never will. There’s no way she could endorse crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt president in the history of our country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.”
However, it appears unlikely that Swift has any intention of endorsing Trump. In 2020, she openly criticized him for his handling of issues related to white supremacy and racism, asserting her intention to vote against him.
Given Swift’s previous stance, it seems improbable that her position regarding Trump has changed. Currently, the iconic pop star is in Australia as part of her Eras Tour.
