On Monday, October 7, the pop superstar was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs as they secured a 26-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints. The win marked the Chiefs’ fifth consecutive triumph, and Swift celebrated in style by taking part in a unique game day tradition with Kelce’s inner circle.
The tradition involves Kelce’s friends snapping group photos of their shoes after a win, a quirky custom that has become a staple for the group.
Last week, the photo was posted by Kelce’s friend Harry Clark, but this week it was Aric Jones, Kelce’s childhood best friend and Homebred designer, who shared the images on social media.
Jones highlighted two shoe photos from the game, and this time, Swift joined in on the fun.
One of the photos featured familiar faces, including Kelce’s barber, Patrick Regan, and his brother, Jason Kelce, who has transitioned from being the Philadelphia Eagles’ star center to a Monday Night Football analyst.
Jason was seen sporting a pair of black sneakers that he changed into during the game.

The second image was the highlight, as it showed Jones watching the game alongside Swift, with the pop sensation joining in on the group shoe photo tradition.
Swift’s iconic fashion sense was on display during the photo, with a glimpse of her knee-high black platform boots that perfectly complemented her chic game day outfit: an off-the-shoulder red and gray plaid skirt set paired with a Vivienne Westwood handbag. The fashion-forward ensemble stood out as much as her enthusiasm for the Chiefs’ win.
Swift didn’t just participate in the shoe tradition; she also enjoyed the game with other members of the Chiefs’ extended family. She was seen celebrating the victory with Chariah Gordon, fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., in a VIP suite.
The two shared a fun moment, which Gordon posted on social media. Swift also spent time with Sheawna Weathersby and other wives and girlfriends of Chiefs players, further cementing her connection with the team’s close-knit community.
Aric Jones, who has been a longtime friend of Travis Kelce and regularly attends his games, spoke about the strength of their friendship in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE earlier this year. Reflecting on their bond, Jones described their group of friends as “a bunch of Sports Illustrated Kids with a dream,” who have always been there for one another.
Jones fondly recalled their early days supporting Travis. “I remember the first game we all went to watch Travis play. His dad, Ed, taught me how to shotgun a beer that day. And Mama Kelce, she’s been the same—always there, always supportive,” he said. He also shared a fun detail about Donna Kelce, Travis and Jason’s mother, who has long been a pregame staple for the family. “Before all of our home games, Mama Kelce and the moms would make food for the team. Those cookies she made for the Super Bowl last year? We’ve been eating those cookies for years.”
The Chiefs will enjoy a bye week this upcoming weekend before they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 20.
With Swift continuing to show her unwavering support, fans can likely expect her to make more appearances as the season progresses.
