It appears that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have made a last-minute change to their Thanksgiving plans. Originally, it seemed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would be celebrating the holiday with his family in Kansas City ahead of his team’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, recent reports suggest a different turn of events.
The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders in a Black Friday game, taking place tomorrow at Arrowhead Stadium. The 10-1 Chiefs will host the 2-9 Raiders in a game streaming live on Amazon Prime. Previously, Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, had hinted that the entire Kelce family would be heading to Kansas City to celebrate Thanksgiving before the Week 13 NFL matchup.
“We’re all going to KC for Thanksgiving,” Jason Kelce said, adding, “You guys play Friday night for Amazon. After the game, we can play Mafia.” The Chiefs and Raiders are scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
However, according to a new report from The Daily Mail, it seems that Taylor Swift and the Kelce family might have decided on a different Thanksgiving plan. Swift’s private jet was recently spotted leaving Kansas City for Nashville, where she owns a home. It appears the pop superstar might have made a spontaneous change to her holiday plans, at least for Wednesday or Thursday.

Interestingly, The Daily Mail also reported that Jason Kelce’s plane was seen arriving in Nashville shortly after Taylor Swift’s jet, the Dassault Falcon 7X, touched down. This suggests that Swift may have invited Travis Kelce’s family to join her for Thanksgiving celebrations in Nashville before they all head to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ game on Friday.
Travis and Jason’s mother, Donna Kelce, had previously mentioned on the Today show that Taylor Swift might not be able to join them for the holidays due to her ongoing Eras Tour, which is set to wrap up in Canada next month. Despite the uncertainty, it appears that everyone has managed to come together to celebrate the holiday.
“Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always about the holidays. It’s football’s family,” Donna Kelce said during her Today show appearance.
The unexpected change in plans may have surprised some fans, but ultimately, it seems like everyone involved was simply eager to make the most of their time together. Whether in Kansas City or Nashville, the priority was spending Thanksgiving as a family, celebrating their bonds during the holiday season.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on Friday, with the game airing on Amazon Prime.
Fans can look forward to a competitive matchup, as the Chiefs continue their dominant season while the Raiders look to play the role of spoiler.
As for Taylor Swift and the Kelce family, wherever they choose to celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s certain to be a memorable occasion, filled with warmth, laughter, and holiday spirit.
