Travis Kelce hosted an exclusive party at one of his favorite Kansas City spots, Prime Social, on Thursday night to celebrate the Chiefs’ thrilling Week 1 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs’ tight end, 34, made sure the event was a memorable one, inviting his teammates to join him after the game — and sources say Taylor Swift was right there by his side, letting loose and enjoying the festivities.
According to insiders who spoke with Page Six on Friday, Kelce informed his teammates in the locker room at Arrowhead Stadium about the celebration at Prime Social, a rooftop lounge known for its chic atmosphere and stunning views. Kelce, fresh off signing a lucrative podcast deal worth more than $100 million, reportedly rented out the entire cocktail bar for the night, ensuring privacy for the team’s post-game bash.
Taylor Swift, who was seen leaving the stadium with Kelce in a golf cart after the game, was also in attendance. Sources told Page Six that the pop icon appeared to have a fantastic time, fully embracing the celebratory mood. “Taylor got a little drunky,” one insider revealed with a laugh, noting how the Grammy-winning artist seemed to be enjoying the chance to relax and have fun with friends.
Swift had already turned heads earlier in the evening at the game, sporting a stylish ensemble that looked perfect for a night out. She wore a Versace corset ($1,325), Grlfrnd jean shorts ($185, discounted to $102), and red Giuseppe Zanotti over-the-knee boots ($1,650, discounted to $966). She completed the look with a black Louis Vuitton handbag ($3,950), effortlessly blending high fashion with game-day chic.
Despite the star-studded nature of the party, it was described as “intimate,” with no social media posts surfacing from the event. Sources confirmed that phones weren’t confiscated, but it appears the party-goers were simply trusted to enjoy the night without documenting every moment. The atmosphere allowed the Chiefs players, their loved ones, and friends to let loose and celebrate the hard-fought victory without distractions.
In addition to Kelce and Swift, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is a close friend of Kelce, was also present. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. joined the celebration as well, rounding out the gathering of teammates and friends. With the Chiefs narrowly escaping a loss in their 2024 season opener, the players had plenty of reasons to unwind and toast to their success.
Swift had been an enthusiastic supporter throughout the game, watching from a private suite alongside Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce. She cheered Kelce on as he played a pivotal role in the Chiefs’ 27-20 win. After the game, Swift shared her excitement in a playful post-game “interview” with Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Mecole Hardman. Swift told Gordon she felt “fantastic” about the Chiefs’ victory, the two dancing around in celebration.
It seems Gordon was likely one of the attendees at the post-game party, given her connection to Hardman. Although details of the night remain private, Kelce’s parties at Prime Social have a history of being fun, laid-back affairs. In September 2023, when Kelce and Swift’s relationship was still new, the couple was seen acting “very affectionate” at another Chiefs afterparty at the same venue.
At that time, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that the players and their friends were “snacking, having some cocktails, and dancing alongside Travis,” keeping the vibe lighthearted and relaxed.
With Swift and Kelce’s relationship continuing to flourish, and the Chiefs off to a winning start, the celebration at Prime Social seemed like the perfect way to kick off what could be an exciting season for both Kelce’s career and his budding romance with Swift.
