You may already be inundated with coverage of the rumored romance between music superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. However, Swift’s presence at Chiefs’ games continues to grab headlines, even leading to a peculiar conspiracy theory.
Since Swift attended the Chiefs’ Sunday night game against the New York Jets, social media, news articles, and search engine suggestions have been flooded with photos and celebrity appearances. Some speculate that the primary purpose of her attendance was to generate a surge in search results when someone Googles “Taylor Swift” and “Jets” simultaneously.
You might wonder, why would she do that?
Apparently, she has grown weary of being constantly tracked. According to the theory, Swift attended the Jets game to divert attention from her plane usage, which typically surfaces prominently in Google search results.
Now it appears she’s going to great lengths to keep people off her scent.
The alleged workaround allows her to come and go without being tracked, all stemming from earlier this year when Swift faced significant criticism for her use of the private jet she owns.
In July, a data and marketing firm called Yard ranked Swift as the top offender in its list of Celebs with the Worst Private Jet CO2 Emissions.
Yard’s research revealed that Swift’s jet spent nearly 15.9 total days in the air, accounting for approximately 8,293.54 tons of CO2 emissions, which is “1,184.8 times more than the average person’s total annual emissions.”
In the meantime, it’s likely that coverage of the rumored Swift-Kelce romance will persist, even though neither party has officially confirmed any relationship.
