What started as a one-sided matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers escalated into tension on Tuesday.
The Brewers had a comfortable 8-2 lead over the Rays during the 8th inning at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wis.
The inning began with Rays outfielder Jose Siri facing Brewers reliever Abner Uribe. Siri grounded out softly to first baseman Rhys Hoskins while Uribe moved to cover first. After the play, Siri and Uribe exchanged words as Siri departed from first base. The situation quickly heated up as the two players threw punches, leading to both benches clearing.

The altercation provided another dramatic moment, captured from various angles.
Both Siri and Uribe were subsequently ejected from the game.
Despite the disruption, the remainder of the game proceeded without further incident, and the Brewers secured an 8-2 victory.
This win was particularly satisfying for Milwaukee, considering the outcome of their game the previous day, which ended controversially with the Rays clinching a 1-0 victory due to a disputed call involving a passed ball from Rays catcher Rene Pinto.
