Recently retired Eagles center Jason Kelce is a wanted man!
The brother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has reportedly been “approached” by a surprising company about making an appearance this weekend.
Reports suggest that Jason Kelce has been approached by the WWE to potentially make an appearance at WrestleMania 40, set to take place this weekend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The two-night event, WWE’s premier annual showcase, is scheduled to occur at the Eagles’ home stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Kelce’s dynamic and outspoken personality has sparked speculation, with individuals like longtime wrestler The Miz expressing belief that the former Philadelphia offensive lineman would be a natural fit for WWE, despite never having formally appeared for the company before.
Recent discussions have hinted at the possibility of Kelce making an appearance at a WWE show, with speculation particularly focusing on SummerSlam, the company’s second-largest annual event.
This year, SummerSlam is slated to occur at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
When WWE wrestler Logan Paul revealed the location for SummerSlam, he expressed interest in involving several Cleveland-native celebrities in the event, including Jason and Travis Kelce.
The Miz recently told TMZ this about Jason Kelce:
“He could be very dangerous in a WWE ring – not only with just the athleticism and the part of the wrestling, which I think he can absolutely do.
I watched him jump up at a Bills game from, like, down and jump up into a window, and I was like, “Oh my God, this guy is 300 pounds, how did he do that? That’s incredible.””
