However, a surprise team has emerged as a potential landing spot for the veteran running back.
The Chicago Bears are much in need of a running back with D’onta Foreman and Khalil Herbert spearheading their backfield as of right now.
Bookies.com has listed the Bears at +650 to land Mixon with the Cardinals following at +750.

They not only have more cap space than any other team, they also have more needs than just about any other team; hence their “earning” of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Mixon would be RB1 on a Chicago offense lacking weapons.
Joe Mixon was inked to a four-year deal in 2020 but has some get-outs in place that would allow him to be released this offseason. With Mixon’s checkered past and a potential suspension looming, the Bengals may decide to move on from Mixon.
