Now, that’s what you call a creative costume concept.
In anticipation of their matchup, the Spurs and Suns fully embraced the Halloween spirit on Tuesday night. San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama, Devonte’ Graham, and Phoenix’s Damion Lee all entered Footprint Center donned in imaginative costumes.
Lee truly stole the show by arriving at the arena dressed as an injured Aaron Rodgers, complete with a headset, crutches, playsheet, and a football.
It’s worth noting that Lee recently underwent meniscus repair surgery on his right knee, which has sidelined him for at least a month with the Suns. Given the circumstances, the injured Phoenix player undoubtedly deserves recognition for the most creative costume in the arena.

As for the Spurs-Suns game, the San Antonio Spurs found themselves trailing by as much as 20 points, only to mount a comeback and secure a victory. Trailing by three points with just 10 seconds remaining in the game, Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama seized the opportunity to clean up a missed three-point attempt with a dunk. Then, in a pivotal moment, the ball was inbounded to Kevin Durant, and everyone anticipated he would be fouled. However, he was immediately double-teamed and lost possession of the ball. Keldon Johnson seized the ball from Durant and made a decisive drive to the basket, scoring the go-ahead layup with a mere 1.2 seconds remaining.
San Antonio emerged victorious with a final score of 115-114.
At the very least, the Suns’ player can relish a win for his comical Halloween costume.
