NBA legend Michael Jordan reportedly has a shiny, new $16.5 million mansion to add to his property portfolio.
A company associated with Michael Jordan has reportedly purchased a mansion in an upscale golf community in Jupiter, Florida established by golf icon Jack Nicklaus, for a staggering $16.5 million.
While the specific individual buyer has not been officially disclosed, clues compiled by the South Florida Business Journal strongly suggest the involvement of the billionaire former Chicago Bulls star and his wife, Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto.
Evidence supporting this speculation includes the fact that the buyer, through the entity Bull & Bear LLC, already owns another property within the same development—a residence previously linked to Jordan in various media reports.
Additionally, the Jordans have reportedly entered into construction agreements with Bull & Bear LLC, further fueling the speculation surrounding their connection to the purchase.
The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence was listed for sale by AirWayz CEO Dr. Michael A. Murphy and his wife, Marla.
Interestingly, it is substantially smaller than another property owned by Jordan within the same development. Jordan’s previous residence, constructed in 2013, spans 18,000 square feet more and occupies 3.05 acres.
In contrast, the recently acquired property sits on just 0.9 acres and was last sold for $8.3 million in 2017.
Despite its smaller size, the property holds significant value, particularly within the exclusive Florida golf community.
