Stephen A. Smith to the rescue!
The prominent ESPN personality has drawn criticism on social media for his recent remarks regarding former President Donald Trump. Smith accused the media of being unfair to Trump, suggesting that headlines about Trump’s “bloodbath” prediction were misleading.
“Based purely on this video, if it is accurate, then that would be true. It seems @realDonaldTrump words were taken out of context…..reading the headlines I’ve read. Fair is Fair!” he wrote.

However, not everyone was pleased with Smith’s defense of Trump.
“Hey Stephen A Smith, what he actually said was that the car stuff would be the least of the “bloodbath” facing this country. And besides that context, why does everyone normalize his inflammatory rhetoric? You saw where that led us before, with maniacs trying to kill Congress,” one fan wrote.
“His words were taken out of context. Now how many times does Miles Ian take words out of context? Why does a Malaysian reporter have the attention of Elon?” another fan added.
“Now go watch the entire Charlottesville speech, Stephen A. You might be surprised what you see,” one fan urged.
Smith, known for his outspoken nature on various topics, has delved more into political commentary in recent years.
