Even Stephen A. Smith needs a break every once in a while.
ESPN star Smith recently took a well-deserved break from his demanding schedule and jetted off to Barbados.
Accompanied by a mystery woman, Smith was spotted enjoying the tropical paradise at the luxurious Sandy Lane Hotel, where rooms go for a staggering $4,000 per night.
Unwinding in the crystal-clear sea, Smith could be seen basking in the sun without his shirt, donning a baseball cap and sunglasses for that added cool factor.
The Daily Mail captured photos of Smith taking a refreshing swim with the unidentified female companion during their relaxing getaway.

Known for his role as a prominent panelist on First Take and as one of ESPN’s most celebrated stars, little is known about Smith’s personal life.
Taking a break from his role as an analyst on the popular ESPN daily debate show, Smith has been enjoying his downtime away from the spotlight.
Normally seen alongside Molly Qerim on the dynamic morning show at 10am ET Monday through Friday, the pair has been absent from the set due to their respective vacations.
With the new NFL season fast approaching in September, it seems Smith is taking advantage of the summer season to recharge.
While Smith has been off-screen, he hasn’t been completely out of the news. The sport analyst became the subject of playful banter after his Madden rating was revealed. Donning a Philadelphia Eagles jersey in the game, Smith humorously expressed disappointment with his 98 rating.
At 55 years old Smith continues to do his thing.
