Stephen A. Smith believes that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a perfect match due to their individual success in their respective fields.
While on the “Howard Stern Show,” Smith defended Kelce against claims that marrying Swift would maintain his popularity, emphasizing Kelce’s achievements in football and media. Smith acknowledged Kelce’s Super Bowl victories and recognition as one of the greatest tight ends in football history, describing him as the “total package.”
“He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, he’s on the verge of potentially being a three-time Super Bowl champion,” the “First Take” co-host said in defense of Kelce. “He’s universally recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of football.”
“He is a good looking dude, got style, got flair. He’s got skills. He’s got a future in [the media] once he retires from football,” he continued, calling Kelce “the total package.”

He also praised Swift’s looks and incredible artistry, recalling his positive experience at her concert. Despite criticism of their romance, Smith defended the pair, urging respect for Swift and highlighting Kelce’s improved performance when she attended games.
“Taylor Swift is a good-looking woman, she is an incredible artist — I went to her concert with my daughters,” Smith quipped.
“Man, Howard, it was off the chain. I loved it. I couldn’t believe how much I loved it because I don’t listen to Taylor Swift music,” he continued. “She was phenomenal.”
“I’m 56 years old… I stood up for the 3 and a half hours,” he said. “I never sat down.”
Swift and Kelce publicly confirmed their relationship in September, with Swift supporting Kelce at his football games. Maybe Stephen A. Smith wants to get some free tickets to Taylor’s next show?
