Victor Wembanyama and Brittney Spears are trending.
According to reports, Britney Spears was reportedly assaulted on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
Allegedly, a member of NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security team backhanded her in the face at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel around 8:30 PM.
Britney had gone to the restaurant for dinner with her husband, Sam Asghari, and two others. As she entered the casino, she was surrounded by fans. When Britney and her group were entering the restaurant, she spotted Victor and approached him to ask for a photo together.
She tapped him on the back, but the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs, who drafted Victor last month, immediately backhanded her. This caused Britney to fall to the ground and her glasses were knocked off.

Despite the incident, Britney composed herself and went to her table. The security personnel later approached her and apologized, stating that being swarmed by fans was a challenging situation. Britney accepted the apology.
However, her security team later filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Department, alleging battery.
