Cameron Brink is making waves both on and off the basketball court, proving she’s a multifaceted star.
The WNBA rookie recently graced the cover of Flaunt magazine’s “Gold Standard” issue, showcasing her talent and style. Brink, a forward for the L.A. Sparks, shared the exciting news on Monday, revealing that she participated in the photoshoot just weeks before suffering an ACL injury.
In the magazine spread, the 22-year-old athlete donned various stylish outfits, including pieces from Skims, a brand she has modeled for previously.
Alongside the stunning visuals, Brink engaged in a candid Q&A, discussing how she manages the numerous business opportunities that come with her professional career.
She credited her time at Stanford for preparing her to navigate the world of endorsements and brand partnerships.
“I’m thankful because I got a heads-up on dealing with brands and being lucky enough to work with them because of NIL and college,” Brink said. “So I feel pretty prepared for the world that is now the professionals and being genuinely endorsed by brands.”
Brink also highlighted the financial realities for female basketball players, emphasizing the importance of endorsements. “To be frank, as a female basketball player, our salaries are hard to sustain ourselves, especially for our needs throughout a whole year,” she explained. “That’s why endorsements are so important, and that’s why I’m so thankful for every brand I work with because that’s the majority of the money I make.”
The announcement of her magazine cover was met with enthusiastic support from fellow basketball stars. Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese commented, “DROP DEAD GORGGGGGGG,” while Seattle Storm’s Nika Mühl wrote, “Uuuuuuuu this FIRE,” showing their admiration and encouragement.

Brink’s interest in modeling is not new.
In May, she expressed a desire to pose for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue or the now-defunct ESPN Body Issue. “Just to see your body purely as an athlete, to appreciate — our bodies are our machines, that’s how we make our money. So I think that’s always a really cool concept,” she said.
With her recent feature in Flaunt magazine, it seems Brink is well on her way to achieving her modeling dreams.
Her impressive versatility as both an athlete and a model has earned her the nickname “Cover Cam,” a title she’s likely to live up to as she continues to make strides in both fields.
