Is this it for Klay Thompson in a Golden State Warriors jersey?
The 34-year-old had a career-worst game in Sacramento as his Warriors lost to the Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference play-in tournament.
Thompson shot 0/10 and did not score a point.
The trio of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Thompson have been together since 2012 but speculation has emerged that this could be the end of the trio.
Thompson is a free agent and his play is clearly trending downward.
However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated that he wanted Thompson back next season.
“We need Klay back…He still has good years left…We desperately want him back.”
Despite Kerr’s desires, social media is speculating that Thompson has played his last game for the Warriors based on how he left the court following the loss to the Kings.

That sure looks like a guy soaking it all in as he leaves the court for the last time as a Warrior.
Thompson has played his entire career with the Warriors and had a career-worst season in many regards for the Warriors in 2023-24.
Thompson’s 17.9 points per game average was his lowest since the 2012-13 season and his 38.7% three-point percentage was only the second time of his career shooting under 40% from three-point range.
We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for Thompson.
