It’s that time of year when Halloween costumes take center stage.
Social media influencer Annie Agar has come up with a unique Michigan-themed version of the Hamburglar for this year’s Halloween festivities.
Agar proudly showcased her costume in a photo shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) this Saturday morning.

For the most part, Agar’s attire closely resembled the classic Hamburglar look. However, she decided to give it a Michigan twist by sporting a Michigan hat. She even held up a few play designs, a clear nod to the program’s alleged sign-stealing controversy.
Michigan’s football program is currently facing some unfavorable circumstances. On Friday, ESPN featured an interview with a former Division III football player and coach who was compensated by Connor Stalions to film future Michigan opponents.
“I didn’t necessarily like it, but it’s a gray area,” the former coach told ESPN. “You can call me naive, but not many people thoroughly read the bylaws. I’m not a contract lawyer… I just felt that if you’re not doing it, you’re not striving to gain an advantage.”
Given the situation, it wouldn’t be surprising if more individuals decide to playfully tease the Wolverines with their Halloween costumes this year.
Kudos to the imaginative individuals who put genuine thought into their Halloween costumes.
