Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, known as teammates on the field, have expanded their partnership into the restaurant industry.
Announced on Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star players revealed plans to launch a joint venture, a steakhouse named 1587 Prime. The name cleverly combines both of their jersey numbers.
Described as the “ultimate experiential dining destination,” this new establishment will be situated within the Loews Kansas City Hotel. Partnering with the athletes is the global hospitality group, Noble 33, with an anticipated opening in early 2025.
“We’re thrilled to embark on this venture with Noble 33 to craft a unique dining experience, starting right here in our beloved Kansas City,” Kelce expressed in a statement.
Spanning two floors and occupying a whopping 10,000 square feet, 1587 Prime will feature multiple private dining rooms, a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, and an impressive meat display. Additionally, subtle nods to Mahomes’ and Kelce’s football achievements will be incorporated throughout the ambiance.

“Travis and I have enjoyed dining at Noble 33 establishments in other cities, so it was a natural step to bring something extraordinary to our community in Kansas City,” Mahomes remarked.
Previously, Kelce visited Noble 33’s M?düz? Mediterrania in New York City, while both Kelce and Mahomes have frequented Toca Madera in Las Vegas.
Since their Super Bowl victory in February, the duo has been relishing the off-season with loved ones. Brittany Mahomes recently shared snapshots from their family’s tropical getaway on Instagram, captioned “Fam?,” featuring romantic moments between herself and Patrick by an outdoor pool.
Kelce also made a trip to Singapore earlier this month to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during her Eras Tour stop. He shared highlights of his excursion on the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, expressing his admiration for Swift’s performances and indulging in the local cuisine and scenery.
