LeBron James has showcased his remarkable talent and brilliance on the NBA stage for a span of two decades. Despite cementing his status as one of the greatest players of all time with four championship victories, Skip Bayless remains a persistent critic of James.
Shortly after the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Christian Wood as their latest addition, Bayless, the host of Fox Sports’s Undisputed, seized the opportunity to take a swipe at the league’s all-time leading scorer.

“Congratulations to Rob Pelinka for securing Christian Wood, who posted averages of 17 points and 7 rebounds last year while maintaining a 38% three-point shooting rate over the past four years. Now, if the Lakers can only get the NBA’s all-time leading scorer to deliver in the fourth quarters of playoff games…,” Bayless tweeted in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
As the playful rivalry between Bayless and James continues, Los Angeles has acquired a significant frontcourt presence who could make a substantial impact on the court.
Wood, who signed a two-year contract with the Lakers, will now share the court with James and Anthony Davis in the upcoming season.
Although playing for the Lakers had always been his “dream,” it will be intriguing to observe how Wood’s presence influences James’ performance as he embarks on his 21st NBA season in October.
