Skip Bayless is taking shots.
Taking advantage of the news of the Boston Celtics trading Marcus Smart, their Defensive Player of the Year, to the Memphis Grizzlies, Skip Bayless seized the opportunity to criticize Dillon Brooks.
In Bayless’ opinion, the trade highlighted the distinction between “true toughness,” embodied by Smart, and “fake toughness,” exemplified by Brooks.

Additionally, most sports fans on Twitter agreed that Smart was an overall upgrade to the team compared to Brooks, who learned that he would not be re-signed.
NBA insider Rob Perez echoed Bayless’ comments by tweeting, “Memphis finally has what Dillon Brooks thought he was.”
