Significant news regarding Skip Bayless emerged on Monday.
According to a report by Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post, Bayless is stepping down from his role as co-host of the FS1 show “Undisputed.”
Bayless has been a prominent figure on “Undisputed” since 2016, following his departure from ESPN to join FOX Sports. Before this move, Bayless was well-known for his partnership with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s “First Take,” a show that continues to thrive under Smith’s co-hosting. At FS1, Bayless collaborated with Shannon Sharpe on “Undisputed,” creating a dynamic and popular debate show.

Sharpe, a Hall of Fame former tight end, left FOX Sports last year after negotiating a buyout with the network. He has since joined ESPN. Following Sharpe’s departure, “Undisputed” took a break last summer to revamp its format and style.
The show returned with Bayless taking on dual roles as both moderator and commentator, featuring a rotating panel of guest analysts including Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman, Rachel Nichols, and Paul Pierce. Despite these efforts, the show struggled to recapture the intense one-on-one dynamic that Bayless and Sharpe had established.
The reason for the 72-year-old Bayless’s departure from FS1 has not been disclosed.
In addition to his work on “Undisputed,” Bayless also hosted “The Skip Bayless Show,” a podcast under the FOX Sports umbrella.
