Simone Biles took to social media on Tuesday to share her excitement after her husband, Jonathan Owens, secured a new deal with a different team.
Owens, who played for the Green Bay Packers last season, inked a lucrative 2-year, $4.5 million contract with the Chicago Bears. Biles, a decorated 7-time Olympic medalist, couldn’t contain her enthusiasm for her husband’s move to the Bears.
“CHICAGO HERE HE COMES,” Biles exclaimed in her post on Tuesday.
Expressing further delight, she shared, “I’m so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband hahahahaaha.”
Biles also professed her love for the vibrant city of Chicago and its renowned culinary delights, particularly its hot dogs and pizza.

While celebrating the transition to Chicago, both Biles and Owens paid heartfelt tributes to their time in Green Bay.
“Appreciate it @packers for the opportunity, And Packer nation for welcoming me and my wife with open arms, will never forget my time in GB,” Owens expressed on X.
“Just wanted to say thank you packer nation for embracing my husband & I green bay will always hold a special place in our hearts!” Biles echoed.
Owens, who amassed 125 tackles for the Houston Texans in 2022 and 84 tackles for the Packers last season, secured his first multi-season contract, signifying a significant milestone for him and his family. Biles is clearly thrilled about the prospect of cheering on her husband as he embarks on this new journey with another NFC North team.
