Legendary gymnast Simone Biles made a stylish appearance in Chicago on Sunday to support her husband, Jonathan Owens, as the Bears faced off against the Los Angeles Rams. Owens, a starting safety for the Bears, is in his first season with the team after a brief stint with the Green Bay Packers last year.
The 29-year-old had previously played four seasons with the Houston Texans from 2019 to 2022 before joining the Bears’ defensive lineup.
While Biles is busy juggling her own career with her “Gold Over America” gymnastics tour, she took the time to show up in style for Owens’ game. The Olympic gold medalist rocked a chic game-day look, wearing a white mini-skirt paired with a vintage Bears sweater reminiscent of Super Bowl-winning head coach Mike Ditka’s iconic look. Her outfit not only paid homage to Bears history but also showcased her keen sense of style.
This appearance marked a bit of a redemption for Biles, who found herself in hot water earlier in the preseason when she was spotted wearing Packers gear to a Bears game.
This time, she made sure to fully embrace her husband’s new team colors.
Biles’ presence in the stands didn’t go unnoticed by NFL fans, who were quick to praise her fashion choice on social media. Comments poured in, with many celebrating her outfit and her supportive role as a Bears fan.
“Biles and [Owens] > Swift and Kelce,” one fan commented, referring to the much-talked-about relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Another fan wrote, “The couple I’d RATHER see. At least it’s REAL! ???,” while others chimed in with admiration for Biles’ game-day look. “Love her game day outfit ?,” one fan wrote, and another added, “Her outfit cute! ??.” One fan even noted her switch from Packers to Bears gear, saying, “Finally without Packers’ gear.”

Though she’s traveling nationwide for her gymnastics tour, Biles is also preparing for her next big project in her hometown of Houston.
The gymnast recently announced plans to open a restaurant called “Taste of Gold” inside Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Set to open in early 2025, the restaurant will offer a unique dining experience for travelers.
“I am very excited to partner with The Playmakers Group and their dedicated team to help bring a new restaurant to my hometown airport,” Biles shared in a statement. “I am a foodie at heart, and our hope with Taste of Gold is to offer a beautiful dining experience that features award-winning, signature menu items with some of my favorite flavors sprinkled in for our guests.”
With her restaurant opening on the horizon and her continued support for her husband, Biles is proving that she can balance both her personal and professional life while maintaining her status as one of the most beloved figures in sports.
