Simone Biles shared that she overindulged at her pre-wedding party, leading to a blackout before her marriage to Jonathan Owens last year.
The festivities took place in Cabo, where the couple and their friends celebrated enthusiastically.
The celebrated gymnast posted several previously unseen photos from the party to her Instagram Story on Monday, revealing just how lively the celebration was. According to TMZ Sports, Biles confessed to drinking excessively, which resulted in her blacking out for a portion of the event.
In one of the photo captions, she joked about ignoring her mother’s advice, which had come too late: “momma biles is probably telling me I need to eat before I black out,” she wrote, adding, “which would have been good advice about 3 hrs before this…… bc I did indeed black out & miss the rest of the pool party.”
She concluded her series of photos with an image of her drinking directly from a bottle, captioning it with a candid admission: “& then I blacked out.”

Despite the heavy partying, Biles recovered in time for her wedding day, looking none the worse for wear.
