“Sharpshooters keep on shooting.”
At Sunday’s Bills game, “Happy Gilmore” star Christopher McDonald, best known for his role as Shooter McGavin in Adam Sandler’s golf-themed blockbuster, appeared to be visibly intoxicated, stumbling and swaying within the stadium’s concourse.
A video obtained by TMZ Sports captured the actor’s unsteady demeanor during Buffalo’s game against the New York Giants at Highmark Stadium. The footage, recorded during halftime, shows McDonald nearly losing his balance on a flight of stairs, with two men stepping in to prevent a potential fall.
In the video, he can also be seen needing assistance from the same individuals as he made his way back to his seat, all while a chorus of “Shooter!” shouts from onlookers echoed around him.
An eyewitness at the game noted that McDonald, a devoted Bills enthusiast, was later observed receiving water from his friends in a suite.

While we have reached out to McDonald’s representative for comment, we have yet to receive a response.
Regarding the game itself, Shooter, whose memory of the event may be a bit hazy, the Bills clinched a close victory, prevailing 14-9.
Indeed, Shooter McGavin remains a legendary figure.
