Recent unsettling revelations have come to light regarding Isaiah Buggs, a defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs, who now faces serious allegations of domestic violence and burglary.
These charges stem from a disturbing incident involving the mother of his child, as detailed in court documents that TMZ Sports has obtained.
According to the reports, the incident occurred at the woman’s residence in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where Buggs allegedly gained entry using a tire iron.
Once inside, he is accused of forcibly dragging the woman down the stairs, an altercation during which several of her clip-on toenails were reportedly broken.
The confrontation escalated to the point where the woman threatened to call the police, prompting Buggs to flee the scene. Authorities later apprehended him in the parking lot of a nearby Little Caesar’s.
TMZ Sports has attempted to contact Buggs’ representative for a comment on these allegations, but there has been no response from his agent at this time.

Isaiah Buggs joined the Chiefs’ practice squad in January, just ahead of the team’s Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Prior to his tenure with Kansas City, Buggs had played for several other NFL teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Detroit Lions.
This is not the first instance of legal trouble for the 27-year-old athlete. In May, he was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty, marking another serious allegation in his recent history. These incidents have cast a shadow over Buggs’ professional career and personal life, raising concerns about his future in the NFL and his conduct off the field.
