According to information obtained by TMZ Sports, Terrell Suggs’ recent arrest on Tuesday stemmed from an incident in March, during which he allegedly brandished a gun and made threats to kill a man at a Starbucks in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Court documents reveal that the altercation occurred around 12:28 PM on March 10 at the drive-through of the coffee shop. Suggs reportedly made contact with another man’s vehicle while attempting to navigate through the drive-through lane in his Range Rover.
Although there was no apparent damage to the vehicles, both drivers exited their cars, leading to a verbal argument. After returning to their respective vehicles and placing their orders, the situation escalated when Suggs allegedly flipped off the other man as he was about to leave.
Following this gesture, Suggs and the other man engaged in another verbal altercation, during which Suggs reportedly challenged the man to a fight and used derogatory language. He allegedly then displayed a black handgun outside his driver’s side window before driving away, although officials stated that the gun was never pointed at the victim.

The victim reported the incident to the police shortly afterward, and the entire encounter was captured on a dashcam recorder. About a month later, on Tuesday afternoon, Suggs was pulled over by the police and arrested for his involvement in the incident.
Suggs was booked on two charges: one felony count of disorderly conduct involving weapons and one misdemeanor count of threatening or intimidating. He appeared before a judge on Tuesday evening and was subsequently released after a brief hearing.
Despite the charges, Suggs has not publicly commented on the matter. However, sources close to the former NFL player have indicated that he felt threatened during the altercation with the other man.
