Recently, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders boldly claimed to be a mix of Tom Brady and Michael Vick in terms of playing style.
As he aims to capture the interest of top NFL teams for the upcoming draft, opinions are divided on this assertion.
Some teams might appreciate his confidence, while others could be turned off by what they perceive as arrogance.

Shedeur Sanders undoubtedly enters the draft with more initial hype than Tom Brady did, who was famously selected as the 199th pick.
It’s challenging to predict Sanders’ future success before he has even been drafted, but his father, Deion Sanders, touts him as a Heisman-level talent. Comparisons to Michael Vick, however, are tougher to justify given Sanders lacks Vick’s extraordinary speed and agility.
Sanders is still young and has time to develop, but reaching Vick’s athletic prowess would require significant physical development.
On “The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty,” NFL and Colorado alumnus Matt McChesney expressed skepticism about the comparisons to Tom Brady. He remarked, “That’s a ridiculous comparison you’re getting. Come on, Tom Brady was picked 199, no offense [but] you don’t want to be compared to Tom Brady coming out of the draft you want to be compared to Tom Brady after you get into the NFL.”
This critique highlights the premature nature of comparing a college quarterback to one of the NFL’s greatest players based solely on pre-draft assertions.
