The head coach of Colorado Buffaloes football, Deion Sanders, may have caused his son Shedeur’s draft odds to take a tumble.
“Coach Prime” had this to say on X regarding his son’s odds to be drafted within the top five of the 2025 NFL draft.
“He will be a top 5 pick. Where yo son going ? Lololol I got time today. Lololol”
Deion’s son, Shedeur, is of course the starting quarterback for Colorado and considered a top pick in next year’s draft.
At the time of the post by Deion, Shedeur’s odds to be drafted first overall were +100 according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

However, following the post, Shedeur’s odds have shockingly fallen to +300 to be drafted first overall on DraftKings Sportsbook.

We are quite a bit of ways away from next year’s NFL draft and the odds will certainly shift based on Shedeur’s performance for the Buffs this fall.
However, it is noteworthy that Deion’s social media activity has affected his son’s draft odds.
