Kendrick Perkins better watch his mouth.
The former NBA center and current ESPN basketball analyst had some strong words about NBA on TNT analysts Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.
This from Perkins on the “Michael Kay Show.”
“It’s obviously (that) they don’t watch basketball. I’m serious, they can’t watch basketball on a consistent basis. The only time they actually probably watch the Knicks are when they’re covering the Knicks on their game nights.”
Shaq wasn’t having that from Perkins and quickly responded by asking if a “non-Hall of Famer can speak on two Hall of Famers.”

The criticism from Perkins came after it was brought to his attention that Shaq would pick the Orlando Magic to sweep the New York Knicks if they met in the NBA playoffs and both Shaq and Barkley would pick the Indiana Pacers over the Knicks as well.
We will see if anybody gets the chance to have the last laugh as the Magic will need to first get by the Cleveland Cavaliers while the Pacers will need to fend off the Milwaukee Bucks for a match-up to even be possible with the Knicks.
The Knicks await the winner of the Eastern Conference play-in tournament for their first-round matchup.
