Shaq, with his immense wealth, enjoys making frivolous bets on the most absurd things. In a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaq shared an amusing anecdote about his association with a particular company, particularly in relation to the show Maury, which was once the go-to destination on television for individuals seeking help in determining the identity of their child’s father.
Before delving into a segment sponsored by The General, Shaq reminisced about the times when he used to wager substantial amounts while watching Maury. He recounted:

“Every morning at 10 P.M., we’d wake up with thousands of dollars and watch the Maury Povich show, and we’d make bets on who the father is. Every day.
We’d watch it, let them talk, then we’d pause it and pull that money out. Every morning for years. Then that damn jingle used to come on—’For a great low rate’—so I always had it in my head.”
Even Michael Jordan, known for his gambling tendencies, never ventured into betting on Maury paternity tests, at least not to our knowledge.
