Despite previous conflicts, Sharpe became emotional and shed tears on his final appearance on “Undisputed” as he expressed gratitude towards his former partner.
However, the breakup was not a surprise to many, as both had expressed differing opinions on various topics, including the Damar Hamlin controversy.
Sharpe stated that he’s uncertain of his next move but reassured his fans that they will see him again. Meanwhile, Bayless remains on a four-year contract that runs through 2025.
Sharpe’s departure has garnered support from fans online, including OnlyFans model Alexis Bella, who expressed her disappointment on Twitter, while Sharpe himself responded.

Sharpe’s exit from the show was reportedly due to a contract buyout, making him a media-free agent, and many speculate that he will soon find a new opportunity where he can have more control and a greater voice.
Stephen A. Smith has already expressed interest in bringing Sharpe to ESPN but would have to reconstruct First Take to accommodate him.
