Only time will reveal whether Skip Bayless is truly thriving without Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed. However, Sharpe himself appears utterly convinced that he’s flourishing now that they’ve parted ways.
During the latest episode of Night Cap with Unc and Ocho, Sharpe boldly proclaimed that he’s reached greater heights than ever before, surpassing his tenure at both CBS and Undisputed. He proudly noted that his own podcast now boasts more subscribers than Undisputed and exceeds the numbers of any of his former networks.
“CBS let me go, I went to ‘Undisputed,’ got bigger,” Sharpe remarked. “‘Undisputed,’ let me go, now look at it. Look at the [subscribers].
“I got more subs than ‘Undisputed.’ Look at the talent they got over there and we got a new podcast — and we got more subs than anybody they got over there, combined.”

Sharpe’s ascent in the realm of sports media, and even beyond sports to a certain extent, has been nothing short of meteoric.
His Club Shay Shay podcast now boasts an impressive 2.69 million subscribers on YouTube, outpacing Undisputed’s 2.59 million despite being a full four years younger as a channel.
It’s evident that Sharpe has outgrown his former co-host, Skip Bayless, in terms of reach and influence.
