In his role with The Athletic, Charania disclosed that he spends an average of 19 hours per day on his screen.
Essentially, he sacrifices sleep during this time.

Charania is in constant communication with numerous individuals, whether through texting or phone calls.
His goal is to always break news before his direct competitor, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. As news can break at any hour, insiders must always be prepared.
It’s clear that once free agency starts to wind down, Charania will be in dire need of a couple of vacations.
