“Selling Tampa” alum Sharelle Rosado has addressed rumors surrounding her relationship with former NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, including allegations of infidelity and speculation about a sexually transmitted disease. In a candid interview with Carlos King, Rosado shared new insights into their tumultuous relationship and her decision to part ways with Johnson in October 2024.
Infidelity and a Lack of Monogamy
Rosado, 37, revealed that Johnson, 46, was not monogamous during their time together. She disclosed that she discovered his infidelity after finding incriminating evidence on his phone.
“When we were together, there was some … going on, and I found out about it,” Rosado said. “Texting other women … I found out about it, and I was like, ‘You know who I am?’ Like, I know who you are, I’m gonna respect what you have, but it is what it is, and nobody’s perfect.”
Rosado emphasized the importance of honesty, expressing disappointment in how she discovered his actions. “I just feel like, when things happen, be honest about it. It shouldn’t lead to that point of how I’m finding out. Yes, I went through the phone, and that’s how I found out.”
When King asked if she had caught Johnson cheating with a woman in their home on surveillance footage, Rosado firmly denied the rumor. “That’s not true,” she clarified, but admitted she found evidence of women “everywhere” in his phone.
“They’re going to throw themselves at him because of who he is,” Rosado explained. “Chad is a fine-ass man. Like, he’s very good-looking.”

Addressing STD Rumors
Rosado also cleared the air regarding comments she made suggesting that fans sliding into Johnson’s DMs should be cautious. Her remarks had sparked speculation that he might have given her an STD, which she now says was a misunderstanding.
“What I was saying was everybody trying to jump on d–k and everything else, be careful ’cause you might catch something,” Rosado told King, noting she was upset at the time and regretted making the comment.
“For everyone who was asking, no, he did not give me anything,” she clarified, putting an end to the rumors.
Co-Parenting and Family Ties
Despite their split, Rosado referred to Johnson as “family” and insisted she harbors no ill will toward him. The two share a 3-year-old daughter, Serenity, born in January 2022, and remain committed to co-parenting. Johnson also has seven other children, while Rosado has three additional kids from previous relationships.
The couple’s relationship began in November 2020, and they became engaged a year later when Johnson proposed with a stunning 7.5-carat ring. Their whirlwind romance made headlines, but their separation has been equally newsworthy.
Moving Forward
Rosado has since moved on, focusing on her family and career while continuing to manage Allure Realty, the real estate agency that was the centerpiece of Netflix’s Selling Tampa.
Her candid interview with King shed light on the challenges of navigating public scrutiny while maintaining her composure in the face of personal difficulties.
Through it all, Rosado has made one thing clear: she values honesty and transparency, even when life’s challenges are far from perfect.
