After making a glamorous entrance on the red carpet, the LSU center was selected 7th overall by the Chicago Sky, despite a slight drop in her expected draft position.
Reese expressed enthusiasm about joining the Sky, particularly about teaming up with fellow draftee Kamilla Cardoso. “I’m excited to play with Kamilla (Cardoso); I’ve been playing against her since high school,” Reese said.
