That security guard may need a mulligan. Although golf is generally considered a non-contact sport, Canadian golfer Adam Hadwin may beg to differ.
After a thrilling finish to the Canadian Open, which saw Nick Taylor win with a 72-foot Eagle putt in a playoff against Tommy Fleetwood, Adam Hadwin attempted to join in the celebrations by spraying Taylor with champagne.
However, his attempts were thwarted by security, who roughed up the 5’8″ golfer.
The incident was caught on camera and even mentioned by Jim Nantz during the live broadcast.

Despite the security guard’s tackle, Taylor’s win was historic, as he became the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954. The security guard’s fate is uncertain, but some suggest he may have a promising future as a football linebacker.
