Some former Chicago Bulls legends have joined forces for an intriguing new speaking tour, but interested fans might need to travel quite a distance to catch it.
In collaboration with the National Basketball League (NBL) in Australia, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, and Luc Longley have unveiled a new multi-city event set to kick off on Feb. 23. The trio, renowned for their contributions to the Bulls’ iconic 90s era, will regale audiences in Tasmania, Melbourne, and Sydney with tales from their championship-winning journey. Dubbed the “No Bull Tour,” Horace Grant didn’t mince words when setting the tone for what attendees can expect:
“Believe me, I speak my mind. This is going to be a no-nonsense tour,” Grant declared in a video shared by the NBL. “I’ll tell you this – the X factor in the first three and the second three, I would have kicked Dennis Rodman’s behind. Come out, get the tickets, and you’ll hear a lot.”
At first glance, it promises to be a captivating event. With each player likely harboring a trove of captivating anecdotes, it’s sure to be a trip down memory lane for basketball aficionados. Plus, the sight of these three icons together undoubtedly tugs at the nostalgia strings, even if Grant and Longley only briefly shared the locker room.
However, upon closer inspection, one might interpret this tour as a subtle rebuttal to “The Last Dance.” Pippen, in particular, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the documentary since its release, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he continues to express his grievances to packed arenas overseas.

Even the tour’s name suggests a hint of skepticism towards past narratives. Moreover, the decision to hold it over 9,800 miles away raises eyebrows.
In any case, let’s hope this event transcends mere airing of grievances about the 90s dynasty. While celebrating the accomplishments of that era is undoubtedly warranted, it’s essential to do so in a respectful and constructive manner. Only time will tell how it unfolds.
It’s doubtful that Michael Jordan will be purchasing a ticket for this event anytime soon.
