New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner was facing some backlash on Tuesday following a comment he made about Jewish people during an appearance on popular streamer Adin Ross’ show.
During the discussion, Gardner remarked that Jewish people “run the world,” referencing their perceived influence and presence globally. These remarks, made during a livestream, quickly circulated on social media platforms.

Now, Gardner has issued a response on X admitting that he was “uneducated.”
“I love all people. While my intentions were positive, I just learned that people use those exact words I shared for hate towards Jewish people. That is not what I am about and I appreciate those who took the time to educate me on that fact.”
Ross, who comes from Jewish heritage, appeared unfazed by Gardner’s remarks and joined in the laughter alongside rapper Ski Mask and fellow streamers Plaqueboymax, Yourrage, and Konvy.
The online personality boasts a substantial following of 1.17 million followers on Kick, having previously built a significant audience on the competing streaming platform Twitch.
Meanwhile, Gardner faced a challenging 2023 season with the Jets as they finished with a disappointing 7-10 record and missed the playoffs.
