Sara Foster and her longtime partner, Tommy Haas, have reportedly ended their nearly two-decade-long relationship, according to a recent report.
The 43-year-old co-founder of Favorite Daughter and the 46-year-old former tennis star have decided to go their separate ways, with a source revealing to People on Wednesday that the couple is now “entirely focused on co-parenting their two daughters,” Valentina, 13, and Josephine, 8.
Despite their separation, both Foster and Haas have remained active on social media, though neither has addressed the breakup publicly.
On the same day the news broke, Foster posted clips from her podcast and shared videos of herself trying on clothing from her brand. Haas, on the other hand, shared a serene slow-motion video of birds flying over a beach at sunset, a possible reflection of the transitional period in his life.
The couple, who never married, have been together since meeting through mutual friends, initially bonding as pals before their relationship turned romantic. Over the years, they have been known for their playful banter and occasional public jabs at each other on social media.
However, what led to their eventual split remains unclear, as their representatives have not responded to requests for comment.

One of their more memorable social media exchanges occurred in February 2021, when Sara playfully called out Haas for “liking” photos of women in bikinis on Instagram. “Happy Valentine’s Day to the guy that hasn’t figured out yet that ‘likes’ are public. Love you @tommyhaasofficial,” she captioned a post that included screenshots of his username prominently displayed among those who liked the posts.
Haas humorously responded by pointing out that Sara herself had “liked” a shirtless photo of former “Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron. “Happy Valentine’s day @sarafoster I promise I will go back to the gym,” he quipped on his Instagram Story at the time.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sara continued to share insights into their relationship dynamics, posting a photo of the couple wearing masks outside with a caption that listed various things they disagreed on—from mattress firmness to what language should be spoken in their home. However, she emphasized that they both agreed on the importance of wearing masks, showcasing the couple’s ability to navigate their differences with humor.
Sara, who co-hosts “The World’s First Podcast,” has been candid about her views on marriage, influenced by her father David Foster’s five marriages. In a May 2023 episode of the “We Met at Acme” podcast, she reflected on how her upbringing shaped her perspective on relationships. “Looking back, I guess I didn’t grow up respecting marriage. I grew up thinking it doesn’t mean anything—you just walk away, you cheat, you go to this person, you go to that person,” she said. Despite these views, Sara acknowledged that she and Haas were “basically married” in every sense, with their lives deeply intertwined.
David Foster, the famed songwriter, was married to Sara’s mother, model Rebecca Dyer, from 1982 to 1986. This complex family history has undoubtedly influenced Sara’s approach to her own relationships, making her decision to remain unmarried a personal choice shaped by her experiences.
As they move forward separately, Sara and Tommy’s primary focus remains on their daughters, ensuring that their split does not impact the strong bond they’ve built as a family over the years.
