Saquon Barkley has announced that he is leaving the New York Giants for their division rival, Philadelphia Eagles.
However, before he made his move, legendary Giants running back Tiki Barber had criticized Barkley for potentially joining the Eagles, stating that he would be “hated forever” in New York.
Barkley did not take Barber’s comments lightly and responded by questioning his loyalty and insisting that he had been nothing but faithful to the Giants during his time there. Barkley also pointed out that he got the deal he wanted and accused Barber of being a “hater” since his arrival in New York.

Although Barber had previously been critical of Barkley, he claimed that his previous criticism was meant to make Barkley more aware of his weaknesses to help him improve.
Despite the past criticism, the tension between these two has now escalated, and their rivalry will only intensify when their teams meet in 2024.
Next season can’t come soon enough.
