The trade rumors have been swirling around San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
When asked about it, 49ers general manager John Lynch dismissed the question and made a decisive statement.
“I’m not going to get into all those details,” Lynch said, per NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco. “We’re really focused on B.A. being part of us. He’s under contract, and we’re looking forward to that.”
Lynch continued,
“Our wish is he’s here and part of the Niners for the rest of his career.”
After an impressive performance with 1,342 receiving yards last season, Aiyuk finds himself in a situation where his future with the team remains uncertain.

Despite this uncertainty, Lynch, has indicated that negotiations are ongoing regarding Aiyuk’s contract situation.
Lynch emphasized the importance of respecting Aiyuk’s privacy during this process and maintaining focus on the upcoming NFL Draft.
Rumors have been swirling around Aiyuk for some time now with many wide receiver-needy teams being rumored landing spots for the star.
The 2020 1st round pick out of Arizona State had always shown plenty of potential, but he has really put it together the past two seasons with back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons and a combined 15 receiving touchdowns.
