Stephen A. Smith unleashed a scathing tirade against Jason Whitlock on the latest episode of his eponymous show.
During the Wednesday edition of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the outspoken ESPN personality spared no criticism, labeling Whitlock with a variety of unflattering terms.
“I genuinely mean this from the depths of my being – this is the worst person I’ve ever encountered,” Smith declared. “I can’t think of anyone worse than Jason Whitlock. He is an utterly despicable individual. He’s the type of person who would have a funeral, and there wouldn’t be a single pallbearer.”
Former “SportsCenter” anchor Sage Steele expressed her disappointment with Smith’s rant about Whitlock on social media, describing it as unnecessary and unprofessional. Steele stated that she believed Smith was capable of better and mentioned a challenging week at the WWL in sports.

During his show, Smith repeatedly referred to Whitlock as a “fat (expletive).”
In response to Smith’s verbal assault, Whitlock quipped, “I knew Stephen A was limited. I didn’t know he was this limited. I’m starting to feel sorry for him. I beat up a baby seal.”
This ongoing feud between Smith and Whitlock has persisted for years, reigniting recently when Whitlock cast doubt on the authenticity of Smith’s memoir, “Straight Shooter.”
