The era of Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee has officially come to a close.
The Tennessee Titans, under the guidance of head coach Mike Vrabel, have opted for a quarterback change. Vrabel shared with reporters this week that rookie Will Levis will retain the starting position, relegating Ryan Tannehill to the role of QB2 moving forward.

Acknowledging the challenge of being benched, the veteran quarterback expressed his commitment to supporting Levis and contributing to his success in the new role.
“It hits hard,” Tannehill told reporters “I’ve never been in this situation before, never a situation that anyone wants to be in, but it’s a situation I’m in.
“I’m going to be here to answer any questions he has and try to help him out along the way,”
Levis seized the opportunity by delivering strong performances in the last two games that Tannehill missed due to injury. With starts against the Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers, Levis boasted a completion rate of 60 percent, accumulating 500 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
Tannehill is set to become a free agent after this season and is likely to find a new team.
Despite the disappointment of being benched, Tannehill’s team-first mentality, evident in his reaction to the situation, ensures that he will have no trouble securing a job elsewhere in the league.
